.

[Service is paused end of year due to wet weather conditions]

Walk and Talk Therapy, also known as Nature Therapy, takes place outdoors, typically in a natural setting like a park, beach, or forest.  It offers unique and refreshing approach to mental health that combines the benefits of exercise and the healing of talk therapy, and involves the simple act of walking and talking with our therapist (instead of being in a room), creating a dynamic and holistic approach.

.

As the world becomes increasingly fast-paced and digitally driven, the need for mental health support has never been more apparent.

.

The combination of physical movement and being in nature has been proven to have numerous therapeutic benefits, including reduced stress, improved mood, increased creativity, and enhanced overall well-being. The sights, sounds, and smells of nature can stimulate the senses and evoke a sense of calm, making it an ideal setting for introspection, reflection, and self-exploration.

.

During the one-on-one Walk and Talk session, we will be leisurely walking while engaging in therapy session through providing a supportive and non-judgmental space for you. The act of walking side-by-side, rather than sitting face-to-face, can also create a sense of equality and collaboration, facilitating a more authentic and collaborative therapeutic relationship.

.

The pace and duration of the walk are tailored to your preferences, making it accessible to individuals of all fitness levels.

.

It also provides an opportunity for you to disconnect from technology and connect with nature.
