Clarie Psychotherapy

Clarity to Choice and Courage

About Us

Therapy is a journey of exploring, healing and discovering from within.

Therapy is very much like entering a labyrinth that looks confusing and mysterious from outside, in search of what is already there; one that is already ours to begin with. It won’t be a walk in the park – clarity can be challenging because it could mean breaking down tall walls that we have learned to built or forgotten to shine light on.

Our Values

We prioritize creating a safe and non-judgmental space for our clients. Our core values are:

  • * Safety
  • * Respect
  • * Integrity
  • * Growth

Corrine Lin – Psychotherapist

Hi! I’m Corrine, a psychotherapist passionate about helping individuals gain insights towards inner clarity to make courageous choices to lead empowered and authentic life.

From burnout to family struggles, my passion lies in helping individuals navigate difficult experiences, including generational and childhood trauma, pregnancy and parenthood challenges as well as loss and grief.

I believe that therapy is a process of uncovering, recovering and discovering of self, and that everyone has the capacity to heal and change.

While gaining clarity with insights is helpful in understanding why we become who we are in the present day, it is also important to know that we can change with the choices explored to realize our full potential through taking courageous steps.

I apply trauma-informed and multi-cultural awareness in my practice with an integrated therapy approaches. More importantly, I value the importance of building effective relationships with clients in their journey first through offering a safe and non-judgmental space so that we can co-create solutions collaboratively.

Besides English and Mandarin, I am conversational in Malay and Hakka.

What advice would you give to someone who is hesitant to try therapy?

Taking the first step is often the hardest, yet the most courageous you can do for yourself.

What should someone know about working with you?

I pace with you, as I will be, walking with you in this journey. Know that you are not alone in this.

How do your own core values shape your approach to therapy?

“Do what’s right by you.” I’m guided by authenticity and growth. Sometimes, it means facing our inner fears, other times it means pushing our boundaries out of our comfort zone.
